I liked where you took this. First impressions can be misleading. It was nice that her friend was the voice of reason.

His helmet is EXACTLY what they should be looking at.

Good, clean fun!

What a cool story. The things we do for love, but I'm not sure I'd be going that far :) Wonder if it's a magic helmet he's wearing?

Ah...the things we do for love. Fun story this week, Icy. :)

Wow, what an entertaining and (in the end) happy story! He was doing it for her.

A true modern love story. Beautiful. (I was hoping she'd watch and enjoy his routine, though. I wouldn't be able to resist looking!)

I hope she gets some of the benefits from them gym workouts while they're in the Seychelles. :)

Another great story, and it gives me some ideas about how to earn a little extra money... or, um, maybe not...

Let's hear it for historically accurate stripper's costumes! And happy endings, of course. [Why does that sound dirty all of a sudden?]

Very sweet. I liked the weary attitude of Penny and Viv contrasted with Yasmin who is excited over the stripper.

Aww sweet and funny! Nice story - it reminded me of the time I went to a house hen party and unbeknown to me a mail stripper appeared - called hot rod - he stripped all the way, that was years ago now.....

Oops I typed mail instead of male - how does one do that!

I can't believe I didn't see that coming Icy,d especially considering the twist was more in the middle than the end - what a great, heartwarming story!

I was reminded of my bachelorette party - a friend at the time, who was a stripper, hired a stripper for me and I didn't know until afterwards that he was her husband. Thankfully, being so in love with my fiance', I didn't embarrass myself by oozing all over him. :)

I originally submitted it to the 100 Stories for Queensland but it didn't make the cut, so I'm glad people have still enjoyed this story anyway.

Ha! He's lucky to have such an understanding woman. Even if I had a second honeymoon in the works, I wouldn't be out of the doghouse in time to enjoy it. A funny story, Icy. I really enjoyed the little lines you threw in to spice it up.

Very sweet and completely unexpected!

Sweet story. And it shows you that it's always best to let someone explain before jumping to conclusions.

It could certainly be worse. He could have been doing online stock trading as a second job.

I love the awkward moment when he first shows up to dance! And I love the happy ending.

A happy ending! How shocking! :)

Now there's a story that wouldn't end as happily if the genders were reversed (is that a sexist thought, or just a realistic one?). Loved this story, particularly that the husband/stripper turned out to have good intentions.
